Preliminary Rule Set

Good rules. But sad to see them censuring "adult" materials like all the other mmo's and it's funny how they enforce it too, seeing as how it's usually alright to roleplay violent but not erotic things. But humanity today is fucked up.

Yeah it looks like there going to be really strict on people who don't roleplay. Which will be good, sort of makes the hyborian coalition pointless.

I see the HC more as a way to know of other rp guilds and to have easy OOC interaction with them to set up meets and talk about why guilds should be allied or enemies.

I think the ruleset is pretty acceptable, the things theyre picking up on like naming, event interruption and OOC speak will all be cause for punishment, so Id say the ruleset covers it pretty well, the only question is: How harsh is the punishment? You could do these things over and over again and the only punishment you may receieve is a warning for example?

Looks good so far. Since I've never been on a server in any MMO where roleplay is moderated and enforced it'll be interesting to see if roleplay will be more prominent.

I have high hopes.

Thing is that they'll probably not end up enforcing it as they don't want to lose costumers and the pvp/pve people that grief the roleplayers are a bigger customer base than the roleplayers so the best thing to do is to just ignore it, after a while it's pretty easy to just shut it out.
