What are you going to do?

Like most players, I'm going to start leveling first. I want to get off of tortage asap and get into the meat of the game.

As I'm occasionally prone to re-rolling my characters many times (), I want to get to a point where I would lose too much if I start again (be it levels, currency, loot, time, effort etc), which is the point I really start enjoying the game, embrace my character and explore all the other aspects of the game.

Well, I will level my character at first, getting to know the game ect, not too bothard about my profession, will be collecting lots of resources as well.

The First thinng im guna do is KEEN thhe Game, Level as fast as i possibly can, but iff im need by the Guild im cool for doing what ever is needed. once im Level 60 im going to ease up a bit, and help my friends and Fellow Kathians with what ever.

Well of course I am going to level my character. On the way I will RP as much as I can and gather whatever is necessary.

Well I can see whos playing for the guild and who is playing for themselves, only joking. I voted gather resources but i think that will get reallly boring so I think it willl be an equal mix of leveling and resource gathering.

Does anyone know if leveling is faster when in groups or soloing? If it is in groups then perhaps we should all group up on the first day of launch and power-level ourselves to freedom! Muahahaha! It would let us get to know each other better and we'll be able to help each other. We could even go on massive harvesting runs, scouring the landscape of resources....

I highly doubt it's slower than solo, they've always talked about teamplay with AOC.

I wager that it's pretty basic á MMORPG style.

Most will be solo quests. Some will be group quests.
Doing the solo quest with a friend or more is OK but it will go slower to level.

I've never understood by MMO developers never make groups more necessary. When I was playing WoW I hardly never had to group... I felt isolated and bored most of the time. At least in MMO's like Everquest 2 we grouped regularly if only because we had to grind. Made the game feel much more social and fun even though we were doing a boring task.

To bad you didn't play FF Online. After level 10 you were pretty much forced to group about to be able to advance.

FF Online = Final Fantasy Online I gather?

I considered it once, If only because the legend that is Final Fantasy 7. In the end I gave it a pass as it had a very Japanese feel to it which is something I don't normally go for (Things like Tekken, Dynasty Warriors, Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry may be fun for a while but generally are very repetitive).

Oh yes, Final Fantasy Online.
