Atherius how much did your roman armour cost? (if you brought it) someone i know tryed to sell me a hole armadilo breast plate, chain mail, and helmit for £400 cheap/expencive?, you might not have a clue probably was just a fancy dress but still if you do

Well, most of it is self made, but the helmet is borrowed, as is the sword.

A full set of armor can cost anything from £300-£1000 depending on quality of craftsmanship. I think anything above £600 is getting expensive, though quality doesn't come cheap. Breastplate, helmet and chain mail might well be £150-200 for a piece, so £400 is quite average if the quality is good.

Oh, and the internet will not implode. It might get a few spasms, but I think it will survive.
