His body is well muscled. His eyes shine blue, and his brown hair flows along with the wind. His mental capabilites are quite advanced, but always kept within controllable limits by the New Dawn. At times, a shadow clouds his miind and causes him to cease control of himself. Still, through years of deceit and careful manipulation, he has become a loyal defender and servant of Kathia like so many others.

6) Character background -

Taylan Pathelos grew up on the outskirts of the grand city of Kathia. There he was raised by Aquilonian Parents, who were deep in the lore of Kathia. The Mother, being a respected Mage and the Father a less-respected, but still known Warrior of Kathia. They both shared a passion for ink on paper, and thus they delved into the Clan of Lore.

They delved far too deep, and found out of Kathia's brainwashing ways and brutal behind-the-scenes. Seeking the Flee, they took young Taylan and fled into the wilds. They had not often been outside Kathia, and never had been further than lands controlled by Kathia. They soon lost themselves in the denseness of jungles, and in the waters of lakes. A scouting party of Kathia's soon found them, a small camp set up close to a sentry outpost.

Blood was extracted, and the two parents of Taylan were dead upon the forest floor. Traitors were not given a respectful funeral, rather their bodies were thrown out to be feast upon by the blood-thirsty animals of Kathia.
As they were clearing up the camp, so noone would know of this slaughter, a cry filled the ears of the scouts. Under a makeshift tent of logs and leaves, a small child lay. He was took back to the main city, along with the heads of the parents.

His time spent at Kathia was like so many others. As he slept, lies were whispered in his ear, and the dark shadows in his mind softened when he thought of Kathia. Kathia became a haven and home in the mind of Taylan. At the age of four, when he had little independance left, his training began. In the arenas where training took place, Taylan showed prowess at little else apart from his skill with a Blade. Through steady training, over the years his intelligence expanded, within controllable amounts. He was taught strategy and tactics, and further use of the blade.

As the deadline of his clan trials approached, he had formed into a capable defender of Kathia and a reliable commander, although he often had mental instability at times where the shadow of the slaughter would claw at his mind, trying to force in the memory. Within time, it eased, but it would always strike, eventually.

7) Your characters reason to want to join -

His loyalty lies with Kathia and it's people. Kathia has been his home for 17 years, and he wishes nothing more than to defend it.

(( abit bordering on being too purple prose and perhaps the character is alittle too perfect but I think you essentially captured someone growing up in the New Dawn (except a warrior of the House would never think of such a coward thing as using a shield) nevertheless it is good enough, I would suggest a roleplay together with your Dorini. Perhaps you reporting for duty. ))

(( Just enough time to reply before I head out. Anyway, I used the word 'perfect' when I said he was the perfect result of the New Dawn's training method, this does not mean he himself is perfect. About the Shield - Well, That's why I didn't specify what weapon I was using just to keep these things open. Then again, a Shield does appeal to me quite a bit In-Game, due to the looks and moves associated with it. I'm using a Polearm at the minute anyway.

I'd actually, looking on it now, like to re-write it sometime down the line, but if you find it acceptable then all is well. I'll start up the Roleplay as soon as I have the time.

( Ah, Understood now. As I said, I'd eventually like to re-do it a bit into a more realistic character. For now though, Lets start off this RP. Also, Apologies for the mess of colours. Was trying to incorporate your RP colour-coding system into it. If you would rather I didn't, please tell me. )

The day was mild, and the clouds overhead drifted along lazily. Taylan felt at peace as he started into the entrance of the barracks.

Earlier, he had been chatting to one of the Guards, much to the displeasure of the Guard Captain. Taylan moved off to avoid any unnessecary anger, and paced about the city and towards the training area. There, he took a seat and watched some of the children make feeble attempts at magic and poor strikes on dummies, with instructors close by. He smiled as his old instructor sat down beside him on the stone bench, and gave him a nod.
They sat together, chuckling quietly at some of the mistakes the children made, until at last his instructor spoke.
"Taylan, I'm out delivering messages today for the different clan trialists and-"Taylan chuckled and spoke,
"A messenger now, are we?" he jested.
"Let me finish boy," continued the instructor, the corners of his mouth twitching,
"Anyway, Just head up to the barracks and sign yourself in."
A serious expression moved across Taylan's face, he was finally at this stage... He stood up, thanked the instructor and walked away with Well Wishes sounding after him.

He walked up a small cobblestone path, and onto the main street where farmers slapped hands to deals and sentries sat idly, chatting. He came upon a tall building, not near as glorious as the temple, nor as noble as the keep. It captured the spirit of a warrior well. Plain and rough. Checking himself once over, he started into the entrance of the barracks.

2 Days and no response, I'm guessing the head of the clan is inactive for a bit, or did I do something wrong?

Heh, Try to find your favourite class FIRST... otherwise you build up a great background based around your class (See Bear Shaman, Alberich ) To find that class totally sucks or you prefer another. This way you enjoy the gameplay as well as the roleplay.

Tried out a bunch of classes, and went back to my Guardian. Proceeded to up 2 levels, and enjoyed it.
Now to re-write the story a bit, after getting accepted of course.

With who, may I ask? I need to have the Dorinin of Balance to RP with, and apparently he is inactive.
The forums seem a more convienient place to roleplay.

Varon is active in game so you will find him online soon, you could easily do the RP in the guild channel, this will give other members to see how you are.
