As some may have noticed I have not been on for several days. This is not me abandoning AoC, it is me being overrun with work. I hardly have spare time at the moment. In the future I hope to be back, but as it is I am taking a leave of absence. And now, the IC reason.
Having found parts of his homeland beset, either by evils or Nemedians, as well as bandits, Atherius leaves for the Numedian borderlands. While he have not abandoned his loyalty to New Dawn, he remembers his old life and his Oath as a soldier of Aquilonia. He has gone to the border garrisons to sign on for patrol and scout duties. Atherius hopes this will prove a swift task so he can return to beloved Kathia and New Dawn shortly. He still holds Dyma and Damak in his heart. All this has been delivered by a letter written by a scribe, nailed to the wall of the settlement's hall by a single heavy nail. Tied to this nail is a lock of hair.
