Application: Azurath al zein

1) Azurath Al zein, but his name he never uses, for his friends he is called The Bartender, and hes enemys know him as The Zelot.

5) He is a tall man, at first he looks like an avrage stygian, but the face markings and the many scars tells a diffrent story. His face is calm, there is no diffrens if he is serving ale or is he is fighting, the one attribut that he always follows is peace. If he starts to fight then the reason must be good. In hes eyes there is serenity, but he is a cursed man. He has great knowledge and he praises wisdom over money. and last but most important he always stands by his words, if he made a promis he will forfill it.

6) Azurath is an ancient, by that i meen he never sold his soule to Xotli, Xotli cursed him when he was born and from that day he lived and wont die until the curse is lifted. To tell you the whole story would take eternity so i will just take the important pices. At birth hes mother died, and by the age of 10 he killed hes father when the rage of xotli took over. He fleed to a tempel where he study and trained. but after 60 years and he havent aged a day the priests and monks told him he had to walk a diffrent path. So he started to walk, and so he did for the next century. When the Atlantians became powerfull he seeked there knowledge and he moved to atlantis, where he was a schoolar and worked at the library. But when atlantis sunk, he fleed to stygia and where he was an travling merchant for quite a time. but for the last years he have been working as waiter at the serpents head inn in Khemi. He have also been working as a spy for diffrent factions in the last time. He now seeks the truth and the wisdom of this age. hes only dream is to lift hes curs, but he live by strict guidelines wich he would never break. Reasently he meet a man speaking of balance. That made him intressted and is now seeking out this balance.

7) Azurath only seeks knowledge and the way that this man spoke about his belives, only leaves one choise to Azurath to seek out this man and what he and his followers stands for. Thoe he is a man of peace he knows hes way around a blade and magic. Spying is like breathing.

I want to see some kind of reference to cannon lore before I can accept an ancient cursed by xotli who dosen't age and lives forever. Give me a quote or several from the books to back this up, otherwise I'll have to ask you to change this part about your character and make him a mortal with a reasonable life-span.

In Khopshef Province, there are tales about monster men who walk the dunes, Men who only worships power. They are a formidable opponent in battel as they wield a sword and are infused by demonic powers.

In the book The demon Xotli.

"Those who are bound to the demon god get demonic powers, sutch as abel to controll the flames, and even to turn for a while into a demon infused by the rage and powers of xotli. These beast are said to live a long time, the priest captured one and held it prisoner for over 100 years, we still dont know how to stop these abominations. I fear that if the priests dont take this more seriously we will suffer the same fate as atlantis"

In the ancient scroll of atlantis.

"The demon men those who worship the dark god. They can not be killed, everytime we kill one they raise again. We can only pray to the gods that they will show us the way, to victory and to vanquish these demons from this land."

He drinks the living souls from those slain upon his towering, pyramidal altars in the islands of Antilla (the bodies of the dead go to feed the dragons inside the pyramid)."

"The result of demonology that went beyond the realms of hell and earth and out into the cold empty wastes beyond the realm of existence, they now faithfully serve Xotli, a demon-god of the Elder Night and an entity even the Atlanteans learned to fear. "

If you need more reference, i will get on it but for now this is all i could find in the library, the arts of xotli are well hidden, and the priests do not wish to enligthen more people about his powers

Well I'd still prefer to see abit less powerful a character. But I suppose it is up to Lapis, our Dorini of Lore.

I would prefer that characters fit into a group or society rather than being designed as unique superbeings.

In a RP setting it gets kind of silly if characters are defined by powers rather than relations and experience.

I would love to read more about your characters personality, who he is and how he fits into the world. What are his goals and dreams?

Also I'd prefer if your character isn't semi-divine, but merely cursed (preferably with some bad things going with the curse - eternal life isn't bad enough).

Hope to read some more, and I hope you don't feel slighted that I am interested in your character background.
