Concerns from the early days

Since it's obvious noone was going to inform her, and the soldiers were obviously too busy boasting to eachother, Anamara started to walk around. Her first stop was the temple of Damak. Searching it's many rooms, she could not find her mentor.
Hm. Now where could he be hiding?
Stopping one of the other accolytes, she questions the young man. learning that Khalid has gone to the councilling chamber, she shakes her head.
But the others have all left by now. What could keep him?
She stands in the main entrance of the temple for a while, but seeing no Khalid is coming, she heads for the council chambers. Looking around carefully, unsure whether her presence is a violation of one of the rules, she finally reaches the door, peeking in cautiously.

Unaware of anything, Khalid sleeps still. Whilst you look upon the old mans face; He's a old man, around his mid 60's. Bald, No scars visible, wears a mixed sad and angry expression usually and in his sleep. It's hard to tell if Khalid even has slightly handsome back in his youth, probably not judging from the lines and wrinkles in his face. And now day's, just a grump old man with to much hatred on his mind by the looks of him. He seems to be having some sort of bad dream as you try to listen and observe him, he's a bit sweaty on his forehead, nervous small twitching with his head. It's hard to make out a full sentence, tough you can hear him say;
N-no... don't... not them -brief pause-
Khalid shifts somewhat in his sleep, troubled obviously by his dreams as his expressions starts to change from sad to a more furious and angered look, this time his words are a lot clearer and louder.
No! Damn you!... damn you all!
Quick and easy as a turn of a hand, Khalid sits frozen still in his chair, still asleep and with cramped fists, and actually begins to cry a bit. Not out loud tough, but you can tell by the few tears dripping down on his dry cheeks.

Anamara frowns. The smirk on her face fades and is replaced with concern. Gently, she places a hand on Khalid's shoulder.
Dorini? Dorini, wake up.
She gently shakes him a little.
Dorini, everyone is gathering. Why are you asleep in the council chamber?

Khalid awakes like the snap of a finger as soon as Anamara gently shaken him a bit, gasping and with a frightened stare he eyes Anamara;
N-No! I'll av-...eh-.. what? who are you...? What happened?
Khalid eyes around him confused, rubbing his eye's he notices that they are all wet so he makes a quick wipe against the robe-arm. Looking again around in the room then at Anamara, trying to find a way to save his own face he reaches down for his cane next to him on the floor and sits up saying;
I didn't summon for you did i?! You dare barge in here into my sleeping chambers!!
Khalid takes another look around and figured that this really isn't his sleeping chambers at all.
Never mind! And -no- i didn't sleep! i was merely resting my damned eyes! Now... why are you here? Speak up with you.

She quickly takes a step backward, one eyebrow rising.
I am Anamara Anok'Tsuten, Theroshan of Damak ((or Origin)). I came here because I noticed all other clans were gathering for something and I was looking for you, in hopes that you would know what is going on.
She looks at Khalid a little defiantly, her back straight, her arms crossed before her.
But I guess you were to busy "resting your eyes" to notice all the commotion, or to even know what it's all about.
She turns on her heals starting to walk to the exit, muttering to herself in a low tone. I can't believe they let this old goat lead.

She eyes Zahra for a moment, as if wondering why this child would dare to block her way. Then she remembers she's not at the temple of Set anymore, she's no the "chosen of Set" anymore. At the tapping of Khalid's cane, she cringes slightly, then turns around, a slight blush on her cheeks, but still looking quite sure of herself.
My appologies, Dorini.
She looks doubtful for a moment, then turns back, casting one last defiant look at Zahra. Without asking for permission, she sits down in one of the other seats.
So why aren't we preparing too, Dorini?

Anamara contemplates Khalid's words, opening her mouth as if to speak a few times, then closing it again. Finally, she seems to have reached a decision.
I will stay here with you, "old goat". She smirks slightly, her eyes sparkling teasingly. Even tough my education as "chosen of set" didn't give me much in the ways of healing and lots more in the ways of destruction. Balling her fists, she lets electricity crackle around them.
But I came to Kathia because that power is tainted with blood.
She gets up, bowing to Khalid. Thank you for explaining, Dorini.

Khalid perks his eyebrowns and is rather smiling a little.
A choosen you say? Interesting... i wonder what that old serpent thinks of when his choosen ones leaves him and ally herself with this old -blasphemer-, heh... reminds me of my youth many years ago... when i was just a Deciple of Set crowning the world with filth and disstortion, ahhh the memories... then when they found out i choose to walk another path then Set's they execu-... No matter...
Khalid pulls himself up with his cane and walks over to the door blocked by Zahra.
I'll should ready be sleeping by now... edning a village sure takes it's toll on a old man. Tough i think i'll head out instead whilst the sun is still shining and grab some air.
Khalid turns and looks at anamara before bowing his head before her
Damak be with you Theroshan... im glad that you choose to listnen.
He then turns back and eyes Zahra a bit and nods
Join me outside my Zahra would you kindly?

She looks at Khalid, then at Zhara.
Euhm...Hey there?

A teasing glint appears in her eyes, her mouth slowly turning into a grin.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
